A Winding path Review

First off I would like to thank the team at Flynn’s arcade for a review code of this game.

Every once in a while you find a game that’s so simple and beautiful and is just a perfect way to forget about everything going on in your life and relax and unwind.

The simple pen on paper, black and white stick figure graphics look absolutely great and remind you that not everything has to look super realistic or stylistic.

This super cute game takes us a short journey of a man just trying to help out different people with various tasks and bringing them back together.

While the presentation and controls are super simple the writing is super amusing and charming, the sound design was great and I really enjoyed getting to learn about all the characters and helping them with what they needed.

One thing that usually bothers me in these style games is when they don’t have a run button but this game was just so relaxing and nothing was too far that I didn’t mind it at all.

The game took me about an hour and a half to complete the story and 8/12 of the optional quests which I will try to get back to someday.

To finish off if you’re looking for a nice simple short game to relax one day I would highly recommend this one and I hope you check it out for yourself and let me know what you think!

Be sure to check this one out when it releases on switch Oct 27th!
